Abstract High quality laboratory measurements of nearshore waves and morphology change at, or near prototype-scale are essential to support new understanding coastal processes enable the development validation predictive models. The DynaRev experiment was completed at GWK large wave flume over 8 weeks during 2017 investigate response a sandy beach water level rise varying conditions with without dynamic cobble berm revetment, as well resilience revetment itself. A array instrumentation used throughout capture: (1) transformation from intermediate depths runup limit high spatio-temporal resolution, (2) profile including wave-by-wave changes in swash zone, (3) detailed hydro morphodynamic around developing translating sandbar.
